In a what looks like a bold move the Belagavi city corporation, it has fined the BJP member for organizing a convention but did not adhere to Covid guidelines.
The BJP had held a convention at Gandhi Bhavan where BS Yediyurappa had also participated.
A fine of ₹10,000 was slapped on the BJP organizer for not following the Covid guidelines.
The Dmart store was also fined for not following Covid guidelines.
A fine if 5,000 was also collected from the organizer of a program at Roopali convention center.
