Four years after she was kidnapped from Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh, a woman who was recently rescued from a house Sadashiv Nagar has been reunited with her family.
Javed Mushapuri APMC Police Inspector and his team had conducted a raid on a house at Sadashiv Nagar on February 7, last and had rescued two women who had allegedly been forced into prostitution.
The two women had been kept at the Women Welfare Society’s Ujwala Women Protection and Rehabilitation Centre.
The woman’s identity was established and it was confirmed by the Ghaziabad police that a case of kidnapping was registered in 2017.
Ghaziabad police along with the father on Tuesday visited Belagavi and left for Ghaziabad.
