A gang of 7 who spoke in English and Hindi broke into the house of Abhijit Samant situated at Rana Pratap Road in Tilakwadi and robbed away jewelry worth around 1.5 lakhs on knifepoint.
The mask borne men broke into the home of Samant’s where the husband and wife were asleep.
The robbers tried to find the key of the cupboard and then at knife point fled away with around 30 grams of gold jewelry.
They had cut the window grill to make an entry into the house on Rana Pratap Road near Third Railway gate.
The police is investigating into the matter.
