From five to zero, Belagavi is back with a bang and now leading in terms of more routes and more aircraft’s and the month of November 2020 saw the highest aircraft movement of 767 surpassing its February 2020 number of 752.
The movement of 767 aircraft’s from IXG is an all time high.
UDAN has become the savior for the airport and now is flying high and making new records in terms of aircraft movements and also passenger movements.
The only drawback as yet is, no big planes such as Airbus or Boeing are flying from here.
Belagavi will not only be the most connected destination in North Karnataka but also the busiest one, and besides it has now second-highest load to Bengaluru after Mangluru in the state, thanking all the people of Belagavi and people who have contributed for the cause, and ending on a positive note to see some international routes to start from here in near future.
Currently, IXG has flights to Bengaluru, 3 to Hyderabad, 2 to Mumbai, and 1 each to Pune, Indore, Surat, Cuddapah, Tirupati, Mysore, and Ahmedabad, Chennai ( via MYQ) with around 25 operations a day on average.
Star Air which is already parking its one plane here will also utilize its second parking slot from this month. So two planes would be parked here overnight.
